Policy: 2003

In the absence of the President it will be the responsibility of the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, vice presidents, and/or the appropriate executive directors to manage the day-to-day operations of all services within the College until the President, or is replaced.  If the absence is lengthy, the Board will appoint an acting president to immediately assume the responsibilities until the President’s return or replacement.

References to “President” in policy or administrative procedure will mean the “President or designee,” unless indicated otherwise.

The President will establish administrative procedure detailing the assignment and succession of authority in the absence of the President.
