LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
The College’s current Learning Management System is Blackboard Learn 9.1.
When a third-party resource is utilized (Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Cengage, etc.), instructors must use the third-party integration within the LMS to connect students with that content.
If there is a case where an integration with the College’s LMS does not exist, instructors may not use that third party for any content that constitutes part of a student’s grade, as it is not possible to meet student identity verification requirements. For content that does not constitute part of a student’s grade, the students must be directed to the third-party content through the College’s LMS (without an integration).
Please refer to Board Policy and Administrative Procedure 4003 Digital Learning Materials for information on approved third-party platforms and how to request to use a new platform.
