The Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) program is an 80-hour course that prepares students for administrative and clerical roles in the healthcare industry, including Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Secretary, and Medical Records Clerk. Students gain a comprehensive foundation in medical assisting, covering medical terminology, ethics and law, insurance billing and coding, patient communication, telephone and scheduling skills, medical records management, and practice finances. Designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and professionalism needed for entry-level positions, this program also meets the requirements to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam.

Enrollment Instructions
1. Visit our enrollment website and select your course with the appropriate start date.
2. Click “Add to Cart.” You will be prompted to create a new student profile.
3. Complete your enrollment by submitting payment for the course.
4. Download and complete the enrollment packet, if applicable, and send to [email protected] or drop off at the Cumberland or Gloucester CTE Office.
