Program Learning Outcomes
The Liberal Arts/Literature option prepares students for transfer to a four-year institution majoring in English, writing, or literature. Students who complete this option develop excellent reading, writing, analysis, and research skills.
Students who have completed the program should be able to:
- Identify and describe characteristics of literary forms and genres
- Interpret, analyze, and evaluate works of literature
- Analyze social, political, and historical contexts of literature
- Locate, retrieve, evaluate, and use scholarly literary criticism

Education Unique to Each Student
There’s a great community here. There’re people who don’t even take classes that will come here to work on projects. When you watch other artists work you see other techniques and learn new things. It’s really cool. I love it.
